Diagnosed two and a half months ago and low carving ever since. Lost a stone and a half and signed up to blood testing offered by DUK. Took my first bloods tonight and really thrilled that two hours after dinner my reading was 7,9 - nearly in the non diabetic range (7.8 ). When diagnosed I was 17 something which meant nothing to me. This site has given me hope that I can lead a decent and long life and have an element of control - so thanks to all of you who have educated me-- Steve
