The needle debate is all subjective really... I personally have no issue..

I'm not sure whether you already use a blood glucose monitor to regularly gauge your T2?

With insulin treatment, testing the blood glucose is just as imperative ...

Not at all.. It was considerate of you to ask.

My concern in my initial post was that the OP had not been prescribed (like unfortunately with many T2s.) a meter..?
Which would also raise the question on lancet use..
