Neuropathy after dka

Hi in November 2012 I dka, I was put in to a coma because I was very ill with brain infection, blood infection, septic, brain swelling, and pnemiou I was in coma for 9 days every time they tried to bring me out there was nothing there ie brain activity my husband was told i cud be brain damaged which there is a small amount of and I suffer from memory loss as well since coming out of hospital I have suffered really bad with neuropathy I've tried amytriplyine now on gabapentine and duloxine hoping this combination works I've got no feeling in both feet with it extending up my left leg also my feet are always ice cold no matter wot I do with slippers socks on they never seem to get warm , also I have limited movement in my left foot from my ankle I can not move it or my toes they seem stuck in the L shape angle it's starting to get me down I'm still having to use a wheel chair and crutches due to my legs and my breathing as I get out of breathe very easily any one else suffer from this

Sounds tough. I was in dka and hospitalised for a few days from the 9th of may.

Then got diagnosed type 1.

Not on any neuropathy treatment yet but huge pain in toes and heel. So I feel some of your pain.
