yesterday i was told i have neuropathy.

I have been prescribed tablets to help with the pain and tingling.

I have read a lot of info on how acupuncture can help. Has anyone tried it? or been able to receive a referral on NHS?

My hba1c is currently on 38 (so under target). I was diagnosed type one last year and within 3 months had a hba1c result of 48 and been around then ever since. So the normal advice of lowering hba1c is not applicable.

Thanks

Hi. With that low'ish HBa1C level I suspect diabetes is unlikely to have caused the pain and tingling? So may be consider other reasons for it? I can't comment on acupuncture.
