Since Sunday I have had loss of sensation in my ring finger and little finger left hand. Half of my palm is affected too. Now everything to me says trapped nerve so I havent had it checked but Google tells me this is also a common thing with diabetes.
I dont want to waste GP time..its not painful just annoying.
So is it a common problem in type 2?
Im T2 since Jan

Personally I have experienced numerous similar phenomenon during the course of my recovery. Mostly it probably depends a great deal on how high your blood sugar has been, for how long, and how quickly it has come down. Hopefully just a minor glitch as your body becomes accustomed to a new (and improved) internal environment.

I wouldn’t be overly concerned so long as it clears up in time.

Sounds like a cubital tunnel problem (where the nerve to those fingers passes your elbow joint) to me, but in any case, you need to get seen by your GP to be sure.
