Neuropathy

Quickly glancing through posts and thought you had been put on Lycra (must get glasses changed) :lolno:

Hba1c 6.5 type 2. Question even though it's controlled I still have neuropathy, dizziness sometimes when getting up suddenly, and now for the last week or two a constant low headache.any thoughts or as jack says is this as good as it gets thanks

I did see that dizziness can be a side effect of lyrica. Do you have any blood pressure issues?
 
Hi folks need some help for the last few days my feet are killing me when I wake up they are on fire and now during the day the bottom of them ate very sore even finding it hard to walk.help please

Hi Sean, that is part of the neuropathy, it may be that you need a stronger dose of the Lyrica. I take a few different medications all to try to reduce the level of neuropathic pain that I have suffered with for almost five years. It took a bit of time in the beginning to get the right dose. Lyrica and Tramadol have eventually helped for me, I still have pain but the medication has been worthwhile.

Yes, you could certainly ask to increase your Lyrica - I take 300mg twice a day so it shouldn't be a problem to increase it.
I hope you get some control over it it's a very nasty consequence to deal with - if you need any advice and I can help I will.
