New “set day” highs

I’ve been diabetic for 38 years, and for the last nine on pumps. Every time (almost) , that I change my set I get 4 to 8 hours of high blood glucose . Has anyone any idea what I can do to stop this? I’ve tried everything I can think of , trying different sites, checking tubing for bubbles, running extra through to fill cannula , not eating for a while whilst following Bolus wizard corrections, trying different infusion sets, (although having trouble getting my Mio advance sets from Medtronic), having carb meal and normal Bolus! I can’t think of anything else to try...any ideas would be appreciated. I usually resort to having injection until things settle but I’ve usually had quite a bit of extra insulin that seems to have just “disappeared “.

Hi @Pattipickle as long as your doing a good fill on your cannula set and rotating sites too - i’d consider changing sets, I was on the mio and switched to sure t but because I was getting allergic reactions to the mio and running high, get a few sets off your Dsn if you can just to trial it, but if I was in your shoes i’d try a different set just to rule this out.

The sure t has been great for me been on it 2 years now and only get issues with sites now not sets, worth a shot.
