new and need advice

Hehe I'm the same, weeing for England! But sadly extra fluids haven't helped :(
I hope it gets better in the next few days because I really feel rough!
They say there is a low carb 'flu' but it does settle within days or a week or two.
 
I've had brilliant blood sugar results since starting, from 17 down to 5 and 6

Is the 5 and 6 a waking reading? What does your bg do throughout the day? Wondering if the headache could be due to spikes.

I've been testing before and after meals and the readings have all been lowish, 7.8 is the highest I've had recently. My sugars came down pretty quickly after starting the diet.

That's great. Sorry, I don't know what to suggest. Hopefully it is just carb withdrawal and will sort itself soon. Sorry, I don't know if glic would give you a headache. All the best.

Thanks, I bet it is carb withdrawal, I did eat a lot of them, I'm ashamed to say how much bread and potatoes I used to eat everyday!! Its no wonder my readings were so high!
Thankfully the pain is easing off a bit now :)
 
Also, consider adding more salt to your food. Magnesium, salt and potassium are meant to be helpful with low carb diet.

Well I've woke up without a headache and I've lost 2lb!! I know its not much weightloss in 15 days but its a start! :)
 
Well I've started my exercise plan, I'm just going out 10 mins at first by myself (anxiety stops me from doing a lot by myself) it doesn't sound a lot but its a big deal, I really had to push myself.
I hope to increase how far I go every few days, hope this kickstarts some weightloss as I've now put 1 lb on!
