Hi,
The old numbers of 6.4mmol are not confusing to me, however, now when I have my 6 monthly blood test I am giving some great number that means nothing to me. I can't find a chart of old and new numbers anywhere on the net.
My blood results was 46, but what I ask is that is numbers I can understand? My meter gives me readings I understand so why did the NHS or whoever change from simple numbers to complicated numbers?

Please can anyone help?

The monthly blood test you are probably referring to is HbA1c - it's result is in mmol/mol. On the dcuk website there's a calculator which can convert this into an average bg in mmol/l - like your glucose meter readings.
