New Diagnosis and update

I was diagnosed type 2 about 7 weeks ago. With the first HBCA1 of 73 and subsequently 76.

I started on metformin twice daily. The surgery didn't give me a blood glucose monitor. However, I have bought one and they now do prescribe me the strips and lancets.

I've tried to go low carb but do find it difficult but do what I can. I had a repeat HBAC1 Friday and it has gone down to 55

Forgot to mention my vision has settled right down. The fatigue is so much better too! No longer ready for bed at 5pm

You are now seeing the benefits of low carb, and perhaps understand just what they were doing to you. Well done keep it up.

Well done, nicely done BTW, are u feeling better now? Not tired etc liek yoru orginal post on Diagnosis

I bet your fasting and post meal (2hr) nos have come down alot
