@CalliesMum Sorry to hear about the hypos they are a pain. It sounds like your daughter could be experiencing a honeymoon which is common amongst newly diagnosed when insulin therapy starts the pancreas can start to spurt some insulin out again which is a temporary phase. The best suggestion is to speak to your DSN and get her insulin doses adjusted rather than carb loading, just ensure that she has glucose close to hand until adjustments can be made and perhaps a few jelly babies before playtime to ensure she has glucose on board to avoid the lows, it does get easier to manage once the honeymoon phase is over.
