The wife who has T2, went to the docs and we have a new doc at our surgery. It's a woman And the wife came back from her appointment and she was able to talk more to her than the others she has seen. The new doc gave her renewed confidence and has had her yearly check and bloods.
However, she rang up for an appointment and asked for her now named doctor. The bad news is that she is away on holiday for another two weeks.
Typical!

She shouted at me for at least an hour.

I find it easier with female doctors.

No idea if my comfort level is psychosomatic, or not. However, every breakthrough in diagnosis has occurred with female HCPs, both of them middle aged.

That is a fact, but it looks sexist, and it feels tragic.
:(
Fortunately, 2 is too small a sample to draw any proper conclusion.
