the sensors are the same price for each but dex needs a transmitter to.

These are off the top of my head costs but I think Dex wins (assumption -3 weeks per dex sensor, ongoing after first year libre would be cheaper)
Would I eat a free lunch every day instead of buying my own?understand your point but i actually ment if it was NHS funded... Abbot are working hard on it by seems.
I factored the 2 free Libre sensors in to my cost comparison(Engineer88 )'s £140 for libre handset is incorrect, that price includes 2 sensors. If you purchase the handset alone it's around £49+VAT
I'm pretty sure I paid £975 for the starter pack (receiver, transmitter, 4 sensors). Or maybe it was 1975?.... I'll double check.Dexcom receiver handset £1200 VAT-free (only needed if you don't have a Vibe pump).
Or available from your local alcoholic priest for a few crates of DRINK!
Just to Animas pump usersI double checked. The prices from the other company (not Animas), whatever their name is:
Starter kit (receiver + transmitter): 975
Transmitter itself: 325
4 Sensors: 250
So the price to start (receiver, transmitter, 4 sensors) is 1232.50
No VAT.
Does Animas sell Sensors to people without the pump? The sell them cheaper!
They used to PaulinaB, but not anymore.
