i went and got new distant glasses today but they don’t feel right do you think it’s just that my eyes need to adjust to them ??

Really contentious choices in the poll!:)

Seriously, how different was the prescription from your previous glasses?
If the prescription was a big change then it may take a while for your eyes and brain to adjust.
Keep checking that your distant vision is good; reading road signs and shop names is generally a good test.

I do that all the time, road names, registration plates at different distances and so on, both with and without my glasses.

Without my glasses I can't see the road, let alone the road signs!

I had the same problem as losing my eyes
Look away Focus on the point If you do not feel it will be fine

The fitting of the glasses can be important especially if they are multifocal. Any good optician will gladly check the prescription and the fit for you if you're a customer.

When I bought new bifocals earlier this year, it took a few days for my eyes to adjust / get used to them.

I do not understand the poll you inserted in to the thread.

The bigger the change in prescription the longer it takes to adjust. I always have trouble for the first couple of days especially judging depth. As has been said, give it a week to ten days and if you're not happy then go back to your optician.
