Our son, who lost his wife to a brain tumour three years ago has a new lady in his life. They have just presented us with two new grandkids. They are named Gottlieb and Emil and we think they're really cute.
they are lovely...I am a dog person myself but adore all animals am so pleased he has the two kitties to love and cherish my dogs give me purpose to keep going smiles
Thank you all for your kind comments. Our son is happier than we have seen him in a long time and his new lady is wonderful. We're going out for lunch with her on Sunday as our son is working (there is an auto festival in Luxembourg for the next couple of weeks and they sell a lot of cars during this period). We're going out to have a look at the new models with her and then the three of us will have lunch together.
The two kitties are half-brothers, same father, different mothers. Our son tells us that when he gets up in the morning they eat the food he puts out for them, then go into their litter box and then have a fight. I think that's what you mean when you say do they know how bad it's going to get.
At least you don't get kitties cocking their legs on the Christmas tree! My first two dogs did this. Their logic went something like:
we are allowed to wee outside but not in the house
trees grow outside
therefore the Christmas tree must be outside so it's OK to wee on it
Yes, they're up to mischief. The other day Emil jumped up on to a shelf and knocked off a miniature of Gordon's gin. My son came down when he heard the noise and found them paddling in the gin and sipping it happily. He chased them off and cleared up the mess - meanwhile they went to their perch and slept off the booze up.
