New hba1c happy(ish)

I just got my latest hba1c and we are heading in the right direction. It was 54 in August 44 in November and 43 today. So its good, its going down, but My 30 day average on my meter is 5.9 and I was really hoping for high 30s. I no longer eat breakfast or test in the morning so I can only assume there are still some high dawn phenomenon numbers. I acquired a new knee in November and had a few weeks of higher numbers so there's that. Anyway hba1c down ,30 some lbs lighter and my blood pressure is now consistently "normal",
All good onwards we go.
 
It's still going in the right direction despite Xmas and the knee op, so well done. This is a marathon so what matters is sustaining a nice low number. Not everybody can maintain an HbA1C in the low 40's - so if you can that's great!
 
Well done on keeping going in the right direction. I'm sure that a major operation would have had an impact. You are doing so well and I'm sure that you will continue making progress.
