So within 3 months I have gone from 83 to 61 on the HbA1c, which wasn't as good as I wanted but I did have some cheat days and a lot of stress throughout those 3 months. I'm down 28lbs as well so everything is going in the right direction.
I am relocating across the country in 7 weeks and so far have no job to go to but will be trying as best I can to get the numbers down even further and prove to my new diabetes team that I know what I'm doing!

I just wanted to share this as you have all been so great to me since I started my journey. Here's to a level under 50 for the next test in August.

oh, well done!
Stress always mucks things up, and with the move coming (and more stress!) you may find it difficult to be systematic with eating.
But you have made a fantastic start.

Are you feeling better?

I think 83 to 61 in three months is fab, 28lbs down is flipping great. If you can do that with stress and a cheat day or 2 then I think you'll do just fine for August. Well done, people like you keep me motivated so thank you x

Hi Brunneria

I felt better after a week on LCHF and haven't looked back. The only time I feel bad is when I have eaten some carbs.

Well done a great achievement in 3 months. Hope your move goes well xx

congratulations with you good results... it also took me 6 month to get really down in the normal area...so I am sure you´ll make it too
have a wonderful trip too

You have done really well and I am sure will inspire a lot of people. A few mistakes happen when you start out. You have a challenging time ahead but don't give up on your health and what you have found works for you. Best wishes for your move.
