I was diagnosed with Type 1 in March 2011 at the age of 19. I joined a few forums at the weekend as I don't know anyone else with diabetes and I wanted to start talking to people who have it.

Hi glucosegirl, I also joined other forums but none compare to the people here. I dont bother with the others anymore as you dont seem to learn as much. The people on this forum really make you feel welcome

welcome to this forum..it has proved very helpful to me in the month or so I have been here. i wish i had found this place in the last 7 years since diagnonis...i must have not made certain mistakes...

so stick around and ask questions...someone will come along and answer
