Hey everyone,
I think I had a profile on here when I was first diagnosed back in 2007, but it was easier just to make a new one.
So I'm Paul, 29 years old from Milton Keynes. I'm a Type 1 insulin dependant chap who hates needles! I've had my fair share of ups and downs but I just wanted to say recently it has been very up! So if you are new you're recently diagnosed you will no doubt have a sense of hopelessness and and general why me mentality. I
t does get better and it will become second nature once you find your own way to control it. From my experience there is some trial and error involved, don't beat yourself up too much! You may not be perfect but anyone with half a brain can make it work!
On that note I will be searching posts and hopefully sharing some interesting stories with other ice cream loving diabetics!
