Hi, just joined to meet a great community, I have been lurking for while and decided to sign up.
I have been T2 for a few years, managing to keep my Hba1c reasonably low at 6.2% but trying to get lower at my next lot of blood tests in June.
I sort of eat lowish carb at around 120 grams a day, my diet has plenty of protein and fats in it, but I do have fondness for bread and potatoes at times.
I joined the NDSS on my GP's advise so I can get subsidised testing strips for my Contour Next meter that I got free from Ascencia. The meter is blue tooth capable so pairs ok with my Samsung phone and tablet.
Hope to get some great ideas on meals and snack food that I can eat on the run when working.
