Hi everyone!

I have been a type one diabetic for almost 17years(diagnosed age 6 now almost 23years old) and this is the first time I've ever seen a community of diabetics like this! For all my diabetic life I have been the only person I know with diabetes and have felt so isolated and unsupported. Don't get me wrong I have wonderful family and friends who do whatever they can to help me control my condition but none of them truly understand what it's like living with this condition, how could they when they don't have the condition? It will be lovely to finally meet people who can understand, empathise and help through their own personal experiences!
