new meter

hi all ive been givin a new meter which is acru check nano it has 2 controls solution bottles can anyone help me and tell me what im supposed t do with them im used to one touch it only had 1 control solution tnx
 
Hi jtuddy.

If you look at the instructions that come with the meter and the control solutions you should see that there is a low and a high solution.

Just use each one to test and check the readings. Each meter normally has one of each, but they don't always supply both. The helpline is there if you run out. You can get free replacements.

When i first got my meter i did this test and after two years i still have no idear what the readings are supposed to mean, they wildly out.

Hi Graham.

The control solutions have a use by date on them. If your readings are way out then you may need to contact the manufacturer and see if your meter needs replacing. They should match the tolerances shown on the box they came with.

I have bought 4 new meters over the last two years and there all the same, way out, it would help if they gave a reading that it should be.

Last one gave me numbers of 30 somthing.yet i used it on me as well as my home one and spare one and all three said 4.2=4.4.
I dont realy know what the test stuf does.
