new nurse and gp

Today saw a new diabetic nurse who seemed fab.I've had my flu and pneumonia jab and also arranged for eye clinic and foot podiatrist .plus I've lost 25lb since middle of December .she also said Will give slow release metformin if these cause tummy probe after two weeks try.seems fair. She also said if anti biotics don't knock the abcess's on the head to get straight in to see the Dr and get it sorted which I'm very happy with as my old drs basically said its part of diabities get on with it.the only bit not so good is no script for accu machine.however this nurse said low carb fab just make sure I eat enough and not to go silly.what a difference a different nurse in same building can make.back in two weeks for results of bloods and weight. Best get low carbing then.

Well done you that's fab as well.I need other bits sorted and to be well and I've bought a mountain bike

Well done on your loss - that is excellent You can get free machines from most companies, then you would only need to get the scripts.

Sounds like you are doing all the right things and that you have a decent Nurse Keep it up
 
Hi I do have a little accu machine that does the job ;-)
 
To everyone who has lost weight, it is the best thing that any overweight diabetic can do to help gain better control and you should be congratulated..

Very well done and keep it up, you will see great results

l keep focusing on new clothes im promised but at the minute im starting to look like ive been shopping in the local skips thankgod for belts and saftey pins holding my clothes on ahhaah xx
