A new diabetic drug based on

Lprialo-Fo1 based on Victoza

Marketed under the brand name Lprialo is a long-acting glucagon-like peptide-1 oral antidiabetic drug i analog that has been developed by Novo Nordisk for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. The product was approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) on March 31, 2011

Will be asking GP on Monday

NIce one. Sounds like something I'll be doing some reading up on.
 
How did you find out about this new drug? I googled it and it came back with zero search results.
I will be asking about this drug next week as I have been having a few unwanted side effects with metformin recently, and have stopped it for 1 week to so see if things improve which they have already, after just a few days.
My gp said he would give me something different if it turned out to the metformin causeing my nasty symptoms.

Like Louiseb I can't find any information on the EMEA site. Do you have a link to the information please.......it would be helpful. :)
