New pump decision - can you help?

I've posted this in the pump section but it seems pretty quiet there so hope it's okay to post here too?
I am in the very lucky position to be a pump user for 13 years, currently using Omnipod and Freestyle Libre 2 and it's changed my life. I can't imagine having to go back to MDIs now!

My diabetes team have let me know that there will likely be the option of me upgrading to a closed loop system in the near future and shared this very handy link to the virtual storerooms of all the pumps available. I thought they'd be useful to share

Now I have decision paralysis and can't decide which to go for! I remember feeling so relieved when I moved away from tubed pumps but it seems like the best options for automatically adjusting insulin delivery are still with tubed.

I just wondered if people could share with me which pump they are currently using and saying why they like/dislike it? I don't want to choose one and then realise I've made a terrible mistake so a few other opinions would be really valuable.

Why wouldn’t you just replace the same pump that you know with the new one from the same manufacturer? If you know it, and you like it, and you can also work it in your sleep, then why change?

My pump had 2 critical errors with it. I found it’s now out of warranty so they won’t replace it. I’ve been told to not use it. I know this pump, understand it, can work it in my sleep. I don’t like it, but I know how to work it. I just want it back. So I’m replacing the dead pump with the same.
 
Because my existing pump doesn't offer closed loop technology. I'm happy to learn a new pump as the tech moves on and gets better.
 
As said in another thread, there is no "best pump". There is only a best pump for you.
I recommend writing a list of what is important to you and scoring the pumps on offer against your criteria.
If you have specific questions about whether a pump satisfies your criteria, the forum can help fill the gap in your knowledge.

Thanks IR. I didn't actually ask for opinion about the best pump. I just asked for what people were using and what they liked/disliked as there's nothing like personal accounts to help make a decision. e.g. someone said elsewhere that the t:slim cartridge takes a while to fill and that is info I couldn't have got without asking users. I also notice you mentioned the Medtrum has some reliability issues on another thread - can you tell me any more about that?

Thanks Ellie - pumps can definitely help with those variations. I'm trying to identify some different basal requirements myself. Doubly tricky due to perimenopause and general hormonal nonsense which seems to add another layer of complication as a woman with diabetes!
 
Hi @vans Ex Medtronic user and now a t-slim with Dexcom G6 and very happy, much better than the Medtronic and I get clarity data which shows patterns to help me when adjustments are needed - only bother is the tubing, but it's minor as the t-slim makes my insulin adjustments for me and hypos are pretty mild now too, I wouldn't change it for anything now
 
I'm no where near being able to have a pump. But I'm sure omnipod 5 might be offered. If so that and Dexcom G6 would be closed loop
