Just a little update for those like me just wanting Sept to come so I can change my old accuchek pump for the new one.

I been advised that the sets for the new pump are different to those of the old pump.

So not wanting to waste nhs money, I'm being careful with the qty of old style sets I'm ordering...

Does that mean it won't have a luer connector?

I think the NHS should insist all manufacturers use an interchangeable common connector. Like the EU is doing with common chargers for all mobile phones.

I asked in my order email to them about tubes and sets and just told sets are different....

Migh be woth others that are due for changeover and going to the new pump to ask at some point about the tubes, just to double check..

Hope they use the same test strips as I seem to have been accumulating a fair few of these too!! Have got an expert meter as back up if remote fails, so guess I could use them for that one.

I ordered more cartidges, but i know these are changing so am keeping to a minimum now.
