Hi I have just been diagnosed type 2. I live in north Yorkshire right by the sea, i am married to a wonderful man, and have 7 beautiful grandchildren. I am still feeling pretty awful this being the start of my second week on medication. Stuggling with what to eat and what not to, I can find no info on that on the net so far. Thats me for now glad to meet you all.

Welcome to the forum .Liliacfairy.
Please take your time and have a good read round the forum ,diabetes can be a confusing subject to start with. Please, ask us lots of questions if you can't find the answers on the forum .there's always some one here who can answer.

Hi macfairy.

Don't worry about Sue, she has trouble with names all the time.

Welcome to the forum, enjoy and you will learn. Takes time though. Don't try and take it in all at once and be prepared for shock's as to what you think you know, and what the actuallity is.

There's lots about diet on this forum . It's the biggest source of discussions. If you trawl it you'll find something to suit you.
I'm personally a low carber. Works well for me.
