Just to clarify, red wine is fine. Beer is like liquid bread - I have the belly to prove itI agree with @jonbvn. Alcohol isn't that much of a worry for us as it doesn't affect blood sugar or the pancreas to any extent. Be careful with juicing. Veggies are fine but fruit juices aren't other than in very small quantities - just have the real fruit.
I think you should be selective about alcohol - stick to the red wine, that's what I do!
Red wine does not have a significant effect on BG levels although it does add calories.
What are you juicing in the morning? Berries tend to be the best bet.
