Thanks! I did find the low carbing pretty hard at first and felt cheesed off that the advice I was given to eat a 'balanced diet' wasn't doing the business, but then the challenge of getting good results kicked in, and I've found ways of eating low carb that I can live with, and am getting back to living my life without spending all my time thinking about diabetes and food, so that's cool.

Recently I had found that I could eat a bit more carb without it affecting my BS, but I haven't been losing any weight, so now that I have dropped off one of the glics I'm going to have to tweak the diet again and drop off more carbs for a while, and see how it goes. I'm hoping that if I can shift a stone or so, I'll be less insulin resistant, so will be able to up the carbs a bit more then.
