Hi all,

I'm Antony, 25, just thought i'd join up to see whats going on in the world of Diabetes. Our story is our now 2 year old was diagnosed at 18 months with Type 1 and spent around 10-12 days in Hospital with Keytonacidosis. Bit of a shock because we just thought it was bad flu.

Few weeks on and she was fitted with the pump which is amazing, no more injections.

Loads of questions some times, so will prob just jump on here if thats ok.

Thanks for having us.

Hello from me :) I'm sorry about your daughter's diagnosis. She is very lucky to have a pump so quickly, they are amazing tools in managing diabetes. There are quite a few parents here so ask any questions. I've found this site to be very supportive and informative, I'm sure you will find it the same.
