hya foxy and welcome to the forum :) i know how u feel as when i was diagnosed i was told more or less the same about food, everyone has to find what works for them, i have made myself a rule that i need to be under 7 before meals and no more than 8 after, i also decided to never inject more than 3 units at a meal so i never eat more than 30 g of carbs a meal, this so far has worked 4 me but as i say we are all different, what questions do u feel u need help with? ask as much as u want and someone will help you :)

Welcome foxy.

As Totsy has said just ask all the questions you wish. There is usually someone on here with an answer or can point you in the right direction.
As for your Diet, you will get loads of advice but it is up to you exactly which way you go. I see you mention low/reduced carbs so have a look at the Low Carb section on here and the other Diabetic Food section. There are many options available - just find the one that is right for you.

Hope that helps.
Ken. :D

Hi Foxy and a warm welcome to you.

As you may have noticed, we use a different way of measuring blood sugar than you do in the States. To convert our UK measurements into US ones just multiply by 18 (so 7 in UK = 126 in US, 8 in UK = 144 in the US).

Hi guys

I am newly joined here to discuss about diabetic disease.

Hi Narayan.

You are welcome to join the forum. However, we do not allow commercial advertising so I have removed your link. Perhaps you would like to tell us about your diabetes?
