Hey. I was just browsing the internet and came across this forum. I was diagnosed with Type 1 last Friday and am still trying to get my head around all the information that I'm being given. I'm 18 and meant to be going back to university after my Christmas break on Sunday but this is looking increasingly unlikely because my blood glucose levels are still really high. I'm really worried, and feel awful about the worry I'm putting my family through. Is it normal to still have levels after just a week or should they be going down??

:?

hya emma and welcome to the forum,
it does take a while to get your bloods normal so dont worry and it is understandable to feel a bit fed up too, as long as your bloods are dropping i really wouldnt worry :D
have a good look around the forum and feel free to ask anything :D
