Hi. I care for my daughter who has had type 1 diabetes since 3 years old now 43. She also has epilepsy underactive thyroid and learning disability and its been quite a journey. So far she has resisted any suggestion of Libre sensor, but I live in hope.
Recently her weight has increased and readings been high and low. A visit to the diabetic nurse brings the suggestion of a change of insulin from Humalog and Lantus to Fiasp and Tresiba once our current supply is finished. We are now looking at carbs and calories rather than carbs alone.
