I'm going to be really, really harsh here. If you have exhausted all possibilities of controlling your blood sugar levels (oral meds, reducing your carbohydrate intake, exercise) and your HCP's have recommended that in order to stay alive you need to inject, then you have a choice.
There are also all sorts of therapies you can pay for to help with this, just Google, but remember, if your life depends on any medication that comes in a form that needs a needle to administer it, you're going to have to grit your teeth and do it.
I have a phobia of slugs and and snails. Daft I know, but to me it's real. I am currently shaking with the memory that I had to run over loads of them in flimsy sandals to rescue a grandchild in distress. That was my choice, what will be yours?
