Newbie Alert! (plus a bit of a plug!)

Evening all,

Came across the site a while ago whilst looking for information and it looks like a good community. Having lurked a little, I am pleased to become part of it all.

As my signature says, I was diagnosed T2 back in November. Like probably everyone else here, i have been on something of a journey already. This is the part of our condition that really interests me. How people deal with it, different approaches, different thoughts.

I realise i'm waffling now. Also just wanted to make you all aware that i have recently started a blog about some of my journey (still fiercely private about some things, but im sure that will change!) If you think this is a shameless plug, then you are right, but as much as i do get something from writing the blog, i'd hate to think that nobody was reading it!Genuinely grateful if you spare the time to take a look.

Hi Dave and welcome to the forum, not being a twitter member I have not been able to view your blog but good luck with it anyway.

I hope you wont take offence at this but it seems odd to me that you say you are "fiercely private about some things" and yet you choose write a blog about your experiences, I must admit to being a little confused :D

Thanks for the welcome.

About the privacy, i am only fiercely protective of certain things. With the blog, i can be specific about what i reveal, avoiding any bits i dont want to put in. Hope this clears any confusion!

Also, the blog is nothing to do with twitter and has open access to all.
