Do you test 1 and 2 hours after meals to check if anything spikes your BGs more than it should?</p><p></p><p>I think your diabetic nurse will be pleased with your BG numbers and if you tell her you wish to continue with diet only I don't see why she wouldn't agree to this. As a matter of interest are you very overweight? I ask because metformin is a drug which can help with insulin resistance and therefore aid weight loss when accompanied by exercise.
