Hi there. Will go to the introduction thread in a moment but need some help right now!

I am using my aviva nano for the second day - was very recently diagnosed but not yet put on tablets or anything - and wanted to mark a post lunch test result.

Can someone with this machine help? Page 20 of ref manual says to press right arrow and toggle through the marking options while the test strip is still in place (it still is) but this puts you in "averages". I rang the helpline just now and the guy said you should press BOTH arrows - I pointed out the discrepancy. But actually this doesn't work either.

Does anyone know how to enter the "marking" mode? I'm only going through this performance because I have felt the need to take control of this diagnosis by checking what is going on. Seems I'm not managing too well on day two!

Thanks in advance.

Hi there dragongirl.

Here is a link to the actual User Manual which is more informative. You need to refer to page 17 of the Pdf which shows Page 16 of the actual manual. Confusing I know ??

http://www.accu-chek.ca/en_CA/act/en_CA ... nual_E.pdf

It has straight forward instructions, but you must mark the readings before the meter switches off.

Hope that helps ?

Ken.

Thanks, Ken. The meter didn't switch off as the test strip was still in - but I guess something happened. That pdf is identical to the booklet I have, and it says the same thing. Oh well, guess I'll try again next time! There are going to be an awful lot of 'next times' I fear...

Write them in a note book till you get the hang of the meter,Dragongirl. That way you won't forget what the markers were.
