Firstly, hi guys. This is my first post but I've been lurking for since diagnosis (about 7 weeks ago).
As well as saying hello I've got a little question for type 1s on basal/bolus regimes.
I've only recently got my lantus down to the right level and I think as its been a little too high its been hiding a slightly wierd BG level issue.
It seems that my post evening meal levels are much higher than they should be (above 10) and are often quite difficult to reduce for a few hours (I'm carb counting and adjusting my levels to match).
I was wondering if anyone else had this sort of an issue and how do you control it? I've tried injecting after I've eaten but this doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
I hope that makes sense!
john
