My name is Yvette, had type2 diabetes for some time(about 10 years) Was put on metformin, which I managed to get off by changing diet.
My blood glucose levels were apparently borderline so GP insisted putting me back on metformin. I now have other medical conditions and commitments to bring stress to my life.
I don't like the meds and they are affecting my sleep.
Very unhappy diabetic here.
 
Have you taken Slow Release Metformin? I went on that straight away and was ok.

Could you kindly be more specific with what you are eating, and what your bg numbers are?
And also what your other issues are and any other medication
It maybe that with a few tweaks we can help you drop numbers, and maybe therefore medication
