newbie! type 1 for 24 years

Hello, I would love to find people around my age with type 1 to keep in contact with and chat :)
I'm 26 and live in West Yorkshire, i'v never had a diabetes buddy! and would love to meet some people who i can relate to and who can understand where i'm coming from when i talk about my diabetes lol.

haha yeah a fair bit away! thats the good thing about these forums though, bring people together :)

West York isn't in York? Excuse my awful geography!!!!
I don't have Facebook hun, I'm on here quite a lot though x
 
Hi @emma_hughes3 . Welcome to the forum.
Diabetes can be a very lonely place.
East Midlands, old enough to be your dad but I am T1. Sorry doesn't really help you.
Hopefully you'll find a " buddy". :):):)
 
Thanks everyone for your replies :) yeah diabetes is quite a lonely path for me but thats the reason im here now :)
It's good to be surrounded by people that can understand where you're coming from! lol
