Good Evening All, I was diagnosed as Type 2 yesterday. I guess I'm lucky that my doc persisted with tests - 5 weeks later as this is what he has ended up with. However, I don't seem to have any medication for diabetes, just blood pressure and cholesterol. Is it possible I might be able to turn it around with a better diet and more exercise? Anyone know this? Thank you in advance?

Hi rivaulx7 and welcome to the forum :D

Yes, you can certainly help your condition by improving your diet and by excercising. 8) If you tell us what is a typical day’s diet at present and any other relevant information that will enable us to help you.

Hi, Rievaulx.

Can you give us your readings for HbA1c, BP & Chol? Also age, weight & typical diet.

It is certainly possible by diet & exercise to improve your condition, though you will need to consider yourself diabetic & eat accordingly for the rest of your life.
