Newbie type 2

Hi Sheryl and Andy and welcome. You might like to look at this useful website for ideas on what to eat and other topics. The Swedes are way ahead of us here in Britain and the use of low carbohydrate diets is quite common there, even in people who are not diabetic.

Brilliant, thank you Etty, I went shopping today and looked at all the labels :***: carbs carbs and yep more carbs!!!!

I did find a nice piece of smoked mackerel that has none :D

I'm not cutting carbs out altogether, just cutting down as much as I can, i found some rustic oven chips with lower carbs than normal so whoo hoo chips peas and gammon for tea :thumbup:
 
Andy, it's great we started on here at the same time, it's like a buy one get one free for everyone lol :lol:

Everyone is so helpful and there's so much you can read, I feel so much better
