Newbie, Type1 and very confused...

Ahh you see I was confusing things for you, sorry. You're on a different regime to me, and being new to it myself, I presumed all newly diagnosed patients were put on a basal/bolus regime (background insulin AM & PM and then an injection for each meal with insulin units dependant on the amount of carbs in it)

No please don't...... I'm as confused with it all as the next person and its really good to know I'm not alone,
Thank you for your input and will be interested to see how your journey evolves too.
