I think you got the wrong end of the stick here sorry. I was correcting my own spelling - I am so grateful for all posts on this forum. You quoted from my own post, it wasn't someone commenting on my spelling, it was me commenting on my own. Please don't criticise those trying to help. None of us are perfect
Hi Rab5
My liver condition is PBC (Primary Biliary Cirrhosis). It results from a slow, progressive destruction of the small bile ducts of the liver, causing bile and other toxins to build up in the liver, a condition called cholestasis.
I was diagnosed in 2004 and it is controlled with medication - Ursodeoxycholic acid.
My daughter has PSC and stopped Urso
She was LCHF for 3 weeks dropped some weight. However she had better liver readings (for her) while on the diet. Bloods markers showed progress.
Maybe something to think about
Absolutely, thank you very much. I'm gathering as much information as I can with regard to diet - as mentioned earlier I don't eat red meat and eat chicken occasionally, don't touch any other meat products. Trying to get everything in place asap.
Thanks again.
