Hi all, I'm Treners a recently diagnosed type 2. Saw your discussions on Holstein Pils being a good thing to drink, so I thought I would join the group for more hints and tips
Hello and welcome @Treners .
Anything diabetes related you are in the right place for advice. Usually plenty of advice on non-diabetes related things too. Ask away.
Welcome @Treners, you're definitely in the right place!
Any questions, just shout. Plenty of diet managed T2 diabetics around here. What was your hba1c result, if you don't mind me asking? Have you made any changes to your diet as yet, or are you considering doing so?

Just keep in mind that the bulk of T2's have something called Metabolic Syndrome... T2, more often than not, comes with a slew of other conditions, including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Tossing alcohol on that, might not be the best plan. If you are to though, maybe avoid beer and go for white wine, rum, vodka, tequila.... https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/alcohol Might help some.
Hope we can be of more use than just this though, haha.

I think if you look at the carb content on a can of Holstein Pils it is about the same as most others so not really of any benefit , from what I remember it's about 12 - 15 carbs a can .
