So far, so good. I'm feeling quite alert and the hunger pangs are surprisingly rare. If I try not to think about this being an eight-week stretch and take it day by day, it seems more manageable.

It's my first day back at work so I'm on my feet much more than yesterday (apart from a short walk I spent most of it watching films and knitting!).

Congratulations. After the first couple of days, I noticed that I wasn't hungry. Keeping busy helps I think, not having time to go and eat means you don't think about what to eat. Good luck.
