Can someone please give me a definitive answer as to which Meal Replacement Shakes are best for the Newcastle Diet, I have searched the forums and can't find any really positive answers, I have been looking at Slim and Save but ALL their shakes contain sugar (as listed below). Not really sure if I should use them or try something else. I did ask Prof Taylor, but he was unwilling to recommend any specific ones. Don't care about cost.
I only take 2 x Gliclazide 80mg (one in morning, one at night) so I would rather try this now than wait (Hb1ac level is slowly climbing), I have asked my Dr and she is fine with it (she wants to monitor my progress), but is unable to prescribe Optifast.
