Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help.
I’m aware that many people find taking shakes horrible, and that it has chemicals in it and fresh food is better.
However, I’m looking for advice on people that are taking the shakes and the restricted diet.
I have three weeks to, not on metformin for about three months (discussed this with my nurse).
I miss having a coffee, and im pretty sure I can permanently smell bbq everywhere I go. Are you sticking to the specific foods? Are you reaching the 800 calories everyday?
I’m checking my bloods daily, most of the time it’s in the 4.5’s but randomly it gets to 5.7, with nothing changing. I’m drinking about three litres of water a day. I’ve planned when this finishes to do the 5:2 diet, with me having 800-1000 calories 5 days and 2 days have a balanced normal meal.
Has anyone cheated on the Newcastle diet in the 2 months and are something they shouldn’t but ended up having the diabetes in remission.
