I am certainly no expert specially in type 2 but I think that this pain is not actually related to diabetes.. if hba1c is in range as well. Did you have high BG before diagnosis and got them back to normal? If so, your body reacts to this change but not sure of in this wayBoth came back in good ranges! So i am totally stumped as to what it is!

There is little to suspect but again I am no expert. In this case I'd seek advice from a neurologistI had high BG for the last 5 months. I am yet to get them back to normal

My greatest pleasure!!Thank you for your help!
What was and is your HbA1c? Meds? That info helps, but the thumb twitching (in my case at least) was totally due to statins
Hi Danni
If it was 5, we wouldn't be chatting as I'd be throwing flowers on your grave. Was the "5" a finger reading as it can't be a full bloods result

Dani ... none necessary at all
60 is too high (as you'd know) so next questions are diet, weight and exercise. Good news is they can be brought down and with effort, pretty soon. Low 40s should be the aim. Tell us that stuff, and you'll get the right advice
BTW, I started with 89 and cut it half in 3 months
It is a reccomended diet which may be more relevant to and safer with T2 diabetes than to T1
she is a T2.It is a reccomended diet which may be more relevant to and safer with T2 diabetes than to T1
The sub link (on the page highlightded here ) that is headlined ‘cure your diabetes’ strikes me as misleading and rather grandiose
