Hi everyone,
Just a quick question. I've only been diagnosed as type 1 for a little over a month, I'm still in the honeymoon period and my blood sugars are usually between 4 and 8 these days, so I decided to get back to exercising again. The other day I went swimming for about 45 minutes and felt amazing until about half an hour later, when I began to feel absolutely exhausted - as if I'd run a marathon! The same thing has happened every time I've exercised since. Today I walked around 2 miles or so, and now I'm absolutely knackered again. This also happens when I do routine chores all in one day in the house.
Has anyone else experienced this at all? I'm just wondering if its a 'newly diagnosed' issue?
Thanks
Laura
